BACKGROUND OF WRITER & CLOUD ENGINEER, MIKE WAY Mike Way, is CEO & Founder of Creative Computer Specialist and Morning Prayer Publishing. Mike Way was born in Washington, D.C. Mike Way began his writing career by publishing his first freelance articles in national computer magazines. Since those early days, Mike Way has been a consultant for several of the nation’s largest consulting firms, working on programming projects for Fortune 500 organizations and secret Federal government agencies. Today, he is a certified Cloud Engineer employed by the U.S. Government, specializing in security protocols for Microsoft Azure and Amazon’s AWS Cloud platforms. Since beginning his career, Mike has continued to publish in many other venues, including newsletters, magazines, and multiple Internet venues. In recognition of his entrepreneurial achievement, he received acclaim and acknowledgment from the editors of Success Magazine and the Hudson Valley Report. Mr. Way has also served as a technical writer for several Federal and corporate entities. Before COVID-19, Mike Way traveled extensively, speaking on what it takes to be successful as an entrepreneur and programmer. Mike Way began his professional computer programming career while employed by Xerox. After leaving, Mr. Way founded Creative Computer Specialists, a custom software house that designed, created, and implemented custom software for vertical markets across the county. During that tenure, Mike Way produced and sold nationally his first commercial software package called Church Information Systems. Then, a robust Windows application. It is among the oldest and best software packages used by churches. The software is currently being adapted for cloud vs. desktop use cases; the desktop version will be deprecated soon. Mike Way created Morning Prayer Publishing when he completed his first Christian novel, Cynthia’s Dream. Since, Mike has written eighteen screenplays and fifteen books, two of which are non-fiction. Three of his scripts were slated to be produced, two in Los Angeles and one as an independent film shot in Maryland. His latest novel, A Simple Act of Kindness and Anatomy of Choice, will be published in late 2022 and 2023, respectively. Mike Way is currently writing the sequel novel and the companion screenplay for A Simple Act of Kindness.
